This time, during the delivery of the repowering of the Conocoto Day Center (southeast of Quito)intended for people with disabilities, Noboa He said that the vote “is the weapon of the people” and with it citizens can help combat organized crime and terrorism by voting Yes in the popular consultation.
«We seek progress, security, employment and opportunities for all young people, especially for vulnerable groups. I count on you. “As the military and police have their weapons to combat criminals, your weapon to combat these groups is the vote,” he stated.
And he sent a message to his detractors, although without specifying to whom:
«Do not allow a small group of conchudos and backward people to want to stop development. We are more. There are more of those who want good for the majority of Ecuadorians,” he said.
It is not the first time that he has made this type of comments to promote the Yeah for his popular consultation. On March 21, from Cotopaxi, expressed: «The popular consultation is the mechanism that will allow us to build a lasting peace and protect what we have won. “Your support will allow us to build a better tomorrow.”
Ecuavisa says that on April 21, the Ecuadorian people will vote on eleven questions in the popular consultation and referendum regarding security, hourly work, extradition of Ecuadorians, among other topics.
