Alice Munro was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2013 after being the favourite for years. In line with the Swedish Academy’s justification, she was then described as “the grasp of up to date quick story artwork”.

Alice Munro was born in 1931 in Wingham within the province of Ontario, Canada. She debuted as a author in 1968 with the quick story “Dance of the Pleased Shades”, for which she was awarded one in every of Canada’s most interesting literary prizes.
