It was quite difficult for Noah Cyrus to grow up with Miley Cyrus as a sister. That said the twenty-year-old singer in an Instagram live stream. “I felt like the family member nobody cared about, because of what was said about me online.”
Cyrus shared her feelings after she told her number Young and Sad is about what she experienced while growing up with a world famous sister.
“It was absolutely unbearable,” said the singer. “And that’s why I write: ‘My sister is like sunshine, always brings light wherever she goes. I was born in the rain clouds, the sun was already extinguished for me and I got a place in her shadow.”
It was difficult for her not to believe this feeling, because it was repeatedly reinforced by others. The Lonely-singer tells her fans that she was told that she was “not enough” too.
Cyrus said she was happy that she now shares her feelings in a song: “I wanted to tell you about that, because it has been a big part of my life.”
Cyrus made a name for herself as a solo artist after she released her debut album in 2016 Make Me (Cry) released. Her first EP was released in 2018 Good Cry from.
