They’re finally here! Prime Video has just unveiled the first images – in the form of a short teaser – of the film Against the grain 2expected for December 2024. Released in June 2023, the first part was a hit around the world.

Noah (Nicole Wallace) is forced by her mother to leave her town and her friends to move in with her partner. There she meets the seductive and mysterious Nick (Gabriel Guevara). Although he is her half-brother by marriage, Noah very quickly feels an attraction to this rebel who prefers to participate in car races than to study. And it is mutual. After the huge success of the Spanish film, the Amazon platform intends to ride the wave of the story born from the imagination of Mercedes Ron who first published her novel on Wattpad. This is why Prime Video has given the green light for the filming of an English remake of the film. Entitled Against the grain: Londonit will take place as its name suggests in the capital of the United Kingdom and will take up the story of the Spanish film. Asha Banks (Murder, instructions for use) will play Noah while the role of Nick will be played by Matthew Broome (The Buccaneers).
