Noa Vahle was awarded the Televizier-Ring Talent on Thursday evening. The 23-year-old presenter and reporter from, among others Today Inside in The Orange Summer was preferred by the Dutch public over the other nominees Jurre Geluk and Monica Geuze.
In her acceptance speech, Vahle initially focused on the people who voted for her. In addition, she also thanked ‘everyone at Talpa and Viaplay’ and of course also ‘the men from Today Inside’: “If I don’t thank them, I may never come by again,” Vahle joked, and then continued seriously: “Thank you for the resilience you have created in me and of course the opportunity to go to the World Cup as a 22-year-old, which has of course always been my dream.”

Vahle then got people laughing by also involving her family in the festivities: “My family of course, first of all: thank you for the wheelbarrow,” she referred to her famous mother Linda de Mol and undoubtedly also her uncle John de Mol. “I’ll only make the joke once myself,” the presenter added, laughing.
Hendriks
Finally, Hélène Hendriks was also mentioned by Vahle: “What you have meant to me over the past two years is truly unprecedented. As a young football fan, I really looked up to you and I think it is truly an honor to be able to learn from you, so thank you !” Later in the evening, Hendriks has a chance to win two prizes: De Oranjezomer has been nominated for the Golden Televizier Ring for the best program and the presenter herself has a chance to win the Ring for best presenter.
