No yellow for Evenepoel: Soudal Quick-Step comes to a standstill after cannon start in team time trial Paris-Nice

Cycling

No yellow jersey for Remco Evenepoel in Paris-Nice. Soudal Quick-Step had started quickly in the 26.9 kilometer team time trial in Auxerre (with the best split halfway), but things went wrong in the second part – partly due to the temporary rain. UAE Team Emirates won the stage.

For Soudal Quick-Step it was only the fourth fastest time, 21 seconds behind day winner UAE Team Emirates with Joao Almeida (which was still 17 seconds behind halfway). Remco Evenepoel and Ilan Van Wilder were the best finishers at Soudal Quick-Step.
