A member of the wider cadre of the Slovak national team came to Vítkovice in February from Detva and at the end of last year’s basic part he helped the Ostrava residents to stay among the elite, in eight matches he scored a goal and five assists. But in the current year, it did not go as planned. He recorded only one assist in 14 matches, the last time he played for Vítkovice on December 6 in Olomouc and in the next three matches he did not fit into the team.
Detvy’s offspring agreed with Vítkovice to terminate the contract on Tuesday and returned to Slovakia. Slovan nodded at the contract until the end of this season with the possibility of a one-year option.
Slovan has strengthened his staff with Šišovský also because the camps of NHL teams are gradually starting overseas, which will lose Marián Studenič, a tribal ranger of the New Jersey Devils.
