Blood Type O Mosquito Preferred
Reported by Healthline, in a study in 1974, it was found that mosquitoes prefer to bite people with blood type O. Of the 102 participants with various blood types, it is proven that mosquitoes prefer people with blood type O.
The same evidence was produced in another study in 2004. A study to examine the preference of mosquitoes for blood type and secretor status resulted in the conclusion that more mosquitoes bite people with blood type O.
In 2019, a similar study was conducted again. Researchers who gave samples from different blood types observed that mosquitoes preferred type O blood over others.
