Unscrupulous member Paspampres, Hari Misbah, apologizes for hitting a truck driver in Solo, Central Java. Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka quipped that the apology was delivered because it went viral.
“They apologized because the news went viral. If it didn’t go viral, they wouldn’t be able to apologize,” said Gibran when met at the Solo City Hall, as reported by secondsCentral JavaFriday (12/8/2022).
Gibran considered the actions of the Paspampres members to be very rude. Gibran also felt ashamed because the location of the beating was not far from his house. The scene of the beating was at the Girimulyo intersection not far from Gibran’s house in Sumber, Banjarsari, Solo.

“I have the CCTV as well. It’s very clear what happened. It’s very rude. I already have the video. It happened near my house. Imagine, I was very shy (Imagine, I’m really embarrassed). My job is to protect the people,” he said.
Gibran said he would save the CCTV video so there is no need to worry if it suddenly disappears.
“It’s visible on CCTV. Anyway, I’ve saved it. If it suddenly disappears or something, I’ve saved it,” he said.
