The year 2021 is a particularly intense year in terms of work. In order to limit the impact of this work for our customers to the strict minimum while ensuring their fastest implementation, the work was grouped into four phases. During these different phases, the closures of different sections, in this case Luxembourg – Bettembourg, are chosen so as to group together many works during the same period.
Thus, maintenance and road works at Bettembourg station, as well as work on the catenaries, are added to the work taking place as part of the installation of the future footbridge at Bettembourg station. This is combined with other work in connection with the future connection of the new Luxembourg – Bettembourg line which will also continue during the upcoming closures. “
