The control committee decided that there were no proceedings against Jadon Sancho and Achraf Hakimi (Dortmund), Weston Mc Kennie (Schalke) and Marcus Thuram (Mönchengladbach) can be initiated. They protested on the grass against the violent death of African American George Floyd following a brutal police operation in the United States. “These are targeted anti-racism campaigns by the players, which are thus committed to values for which the DFB also stands,” said Anton Nachreiner, the chairman of the control committee.
