The US Open opens this Monday and will be followed until September 12. After his failure at the Tokyo Olympics a few weeks ago, Novak Djokovic is back and intends to win the US Open after the Australian Open, Roland Garros and Wimbledon. This would allow the world No. 1 to afford the famous calendar Grand Slam, namely to win the four major tournaments in one year.
“We work every day of our life to achieve this, to win a Grand Slam and make history,” said the Serbian who remains on a US Open to forget. Indeed, last year, he was disqualified after hitting a linesman with a ball after a gesture of anger.
The US Open, the fourth and final Grand Slam tournament of the season, will run from Monday August 30 to Sunday September 12.
