Kozhikode ∙ BJP Secretary General of State MT Ramesh said there is no politics in the raid on popular front offices and that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) is conducting legal matters. MT Ramesh said that breaking into popular front offices and the homes of leaders is the law of the country that goes in the direction of the law.
MT Ramesh said Prime Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s attempt to drag RSS into the rift between the Governor and the government is ridiculous. The government may have differences of opinion with the governor on issues such as the appointment of the vice-chancellor of the University of Kannur and the signing of bills approved by the assembly. But RSS is not part of that. Pinarayi has no qualms about saying things that aren’t real.
As a Communist leader, he may have animosity towards RSS. Pinarayi is associated with the assassination of Vatikal Ramakrishnan, Kerala’s first political assassination. He’s been anti-RSS ever since. People cannot be manipulated today as they did in the past by saying they are against RSS. Everyone knows that the Prime Minister and others who govern the country are linked to the RSS.
The High Court also confirmed the illegal appointment of the wife of the Prime Minister’s private secretary at Kannur University. Ramesh said it is the interior minister who should file a complaint against the governor as per protocol.
Don’t forget that congressmen who posted Savarkar’s photo on an election poster in Aluva during the Bharat Jodo Yatra and later removed it, had put an Indira Gandhi stamp in Savarkar’s memory. Ramesh said that Mahatma Gandhi and Nehru had said good words about Savarkar.
