Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan give an appeal to the audience who witnessed the event live Formula E tomorrow. Anies asked the audience not to bring attributes or voice political slogans.
“I appeal to all those present to take part in Formula E directly on the circuit. Remember, there should be no banners, t-shirts, uniforms or any attributes that have a political tone. Don’t exist and don’t exist at all,” said Anies through a video recording as seen, Friday (3/6/2022).
Anies invites the whole community to enjoy Formula E, not as a political event, but as a sporting event that unites across borders. “There is no need for political shouts in it, we present Formula E to be a place of mutual excitement,” he said.
The former Minister of Education and Culture also asked that there should be no political competition at this time event Formula E is rolling. Anies asked the audience to make the first electric car racing event in Indonesia the most beautiful memory.
“Therefore, let the competition only occur between the racers inside the circuit and us outside the circuit, we cheer together for them,” he said.
“Let’s enjoy this formula event as a joint celebration, a merriment that unites, a celebration that allows us to experience a match with an environmentally friendly feel, something that unites not distances us, and sport is always able to become a unifier across borders,” continued Anies.
