No player tested positive in the Orlando bubble!

Very good news announced by the NBA: there was no positive test for COVID-19 in the Orlando bubble. The NBA carried out daily tests on the 346 players present in the bubble and none of them tested positive.

Adam Silver had himself announced before the teams entered the bubble that he expected quite a few players to be positive. This in no way ensures that the virus will not spread, but it is a great start.

“We won’t be surprised if when they get to Orlando there are additional players who test positive. What would be of most concern would be that once the players entered this campus and the quarantine period passed, there were positive tests, then we would know there was a problem. We would know that there is a loophole in our bubble or that our quarantine or our campus is not working in one way or another. So that would be very worrying. ” Adam Silver

Note that some players, tested positive before leaving, have not yet integrated the bubble like Eric Bledsoe, Harrison Barnes or Pat Connaughton. For some we do not know their identity.
