Joseph says the wooden blocks are the most difficult to make as the Vellopokam shown in the film is the original. He said that some of the scenes were shot in a dam but the flood was real. He said that no other actor would enter this water but Mohanlal was ready for it.
“We used fake wooden sticks from Naran’s film. That wooden look was a real challenge for me. For in Naran there are streams and floods that I do not see.
The river shown in it is not real. It is a dam. We turned it into a river. Because logically it becomes a river when a ferry is built. Both debts are in the same place. But he is taken by Hogan to show that he is leaking.
Hoganakkal has the same location. The original was flooded when we got there. Laletan has been involved in that original flood. Not every actor will fall for it.
