In the series, investigators, survivors, and relatives of the dead victims uncover horrifying stories about crimes committed in the farthest corners of America, in homes, on the highway, and in the woods.
The victims are mainly women, young people and girls. A woman in a bar is disturbed by three strangers who kidnap her and sexually abuse her, spending days in the woods of Arkansas, a woman divorces her abuser but has to take her children to him once a week, a man shows how far he is willing to go so that she will never run away, a young woman goes every on the morning run and home, the mother and little girl have car problems on the highway, but instead of help, they get only pain and death. This is a small part of the stories under consideration.
“The outskirts of the country are a perfect place for crime. There is not a single living soul several kilometers away, no one will hear the cries for help,” explains the investigator, emphasizing that sooner or later crimes are discovered and punishment is received.
“No One Will Hear You Scream” the main characters, looking back on their lives and experiences, try to answer the question, is it possible to get over it and continue a fulfilling life?
