Commenting on earlier announcements by the Russian Defense Ministry that the Ukrainian army killed 10 Russian prisoners of war, Maria Zakharova, spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, confirmed that “all perpetrators and those involved in the crimes will be identified and they will suffer their deserved punishment. No one will escape punishment.”
And he stressed, in a statement, that “we have repeatedly drawn the attention of the international community to the cruel and inhumane attitude of the Ukrainian side towards the detained Russian soldiers. The videos published by the Ukrainian army militants themselves have regularly depicted the murders, torture, bullying and beatings they committed”, explaining: “We ask the organizations to condemn this heinous crime and to conduct a thorough investigation”.
Earlier, Russia’s Defense Ministry announced that the Ukrainian army deliberately killed more than 10 captured Russian soldiers with headshots, a crime that no one can present as a “tragic exception”.
