No one took the Indians seriously when they announced that they would build a hypercar. Then they introduced the new Azani.
The new Azani is the first electric hypercar produced in India by the company with a tailor-made name: Mean Metal Motors. At the moment, it is just a digitally presented model, which is the basis of the future series product.
The manufacturing company claims that Azani will have a monocoque structure, made of carbon fiber and aluminum. The future hypercar electric motors will be set in motion, but their number is unknown at this time. But one thing is certain. Together they will develop 1,000 horsepower and a maximum torque of 1,000 Newton meters. Azani will be able to accelerate from 0 to 96 km / h (60 mph) in just 2.1 seconds. The maximum speed it will reach will be 354 km / h.
The energy will be stored in a battery with a capacity of 120 kWh. With a full battery, the car will be able to travel up to 523 kilometers.
The Indians take into account adaptive shock absorbers and ventilated carbon-ceramic brake discs and torque vectoring technology. The future owner of Azani will also receive adaptive cruise control, a blind spot detection function and a collision avoidance system with emergency braking. Also, the future hypercar will be able to change the band alone.
Mean Metal Motors has not announced when it will go into production, but is already receiving reservations for its future Azani. Romanians can also book a car. All they have to do is enter their name and phone number on the form. At the moment, the company is in the stage of contracting investors. And there the list is open.
Bizarre is that company website led by Indian entrepreneur Sarthak Paul, strikingly resembles that of the American builder Tesla.
