NEW YORK.- Due to the progress and effectiveness of the Covid-19 vaccine, no one died in this city last Monday, the authorities reported.

More than 57% of adults in the state of NY are already vaccinated and 55% of residents of this city.
Currently, NY has the lowest contagion rate, 0.83% since the pandemic began 14 months ago and that is why the New York city has been reactivated and recovered by eliminating several restrictions.
The city’s 249 senior centers will fully reopen on the 14th and outdoor activities will resume immediately, Mayor Bill de Blasio said Tuesday.
Likewise, closing restrictions for service within bars and restaurants, which had to close at midnight, were removed.
It is yet to be defined what the businesses will do with the outdoor food areas that they built to maintain the flow of customers during the restrictions, whose situation has led to the elimination of more than 8,500 parking spaces on the streets.
