Chairman of the PDIP who is also the BRIN Steering Committee, Megawati Soekarnoputritalk about Election 2024. Megawati emphasized that there would be no delay in the 2024 election.
“2024 is clear. The president is clear that there will be no delay,” said Megawati in the ‘Kick Off & Talkshow Formation of BRIDA’ which was broadcast on the BRIN Indonesia YouTube account, Wednesday (20/4/2022).
Megawati alluded to the condition of the nation which was helter-skelter due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Megawati emphasized that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) had stated that there would be no postponement of the election.
“Isn’t it rushed? already got a pandemic that’s it from the government’s point of view, all kinds of things just happened because of a desire for a postponement which the president had clearly stated that there would be no delay. What else is missing?” said Megawati.
“But it’s a political game,” he said.
Megawati stressed the people must be fed. Megawati said the election was important for the Indonesian people,
“That’s why I firmly say as party leader, no. There are no delays at all, keep going as it is,” said Megawati.
Sintang Indonesia Gold
In the same forum, Megawati Soekarnoputri also mentioned the jargon of Indonesia Emas which is to be achieved in 2045. Megawati admitted that she was confused.
Megawati questioned the purpose of gold to be achieved. Because, he said, Indonesia still has problems stunting.
“As explained by Mr. Tito, by Mr. Muhadjir, that we will say, he said, to achieve gold in Indonesia. I told this president that the gold will be like how Sir. our people aja still have stuntinganemia, and so on,” said Megawati at the Kickoff event for the establishment of BRIDA, as shown on the BRIN Indonesia YouTube account, Wednesday (20/4/2022).
Megawati says stunting and anemia is still a problem in Indonesia. Megawati also said that the government should pay attention to this problem so that in the future it will not only produce productive age, but also produce productive human resources.
