The World Health Organization said no new variants of the corona virus have been found in China. The explanation is in the context of the rumor that the new variant is the reason for the current surge in the spread of Covid in the country.
The WHO Technical Advisory Committee held discussions with Chinese health experts on Tuesday. Genetic sequencing of 2,000 samples collected since December 1 showed that the BA 5.2 and BA 7 variants account for 97.5% of disease transmission. Hospitals in various cities would be full.
