No new corona infections in the Darmstadt-Dieburg district

Darmstadt-Dieburg (yeah). There are still 407 cases: On Monday, the district of Darmstadt-Dieburg again reported no new corona infections. There have been days in the past week in which no county resident has been newly infected with the virus before several new cases occurred at the end of the week and at the weekend. A total of 17 new cases have been confirmed in the last seven days.

The statistic now lists 352 recovered people and 17 deaths related to Covid-19. The value that decides on new restrictions – namely, the cases per 100,000 inhabitants – is now at 6. The federal government and the states had agreed with the easing in early May that new restrictions in counties would be necessary if this value was 50 there.

There are far more men than women among the corona sufferers in the district: 225 versus 182. The age group between 35 and 59 years is most affected, with a total of 193 cases. Between the ages of 60 and 79, 79 people are ill. 30 people were older than 80. Covid-19 is still extremely rare among the children: there are four children under the age of four who are ill and five between five and 14 years of age. Between 15 and 34 years, the district statistics currently count 96 corona cases.
