It’s a tool that will “revolutionize your journey through the airport”, promises the site of Lyon Saint-Exupéry, presenting the “ZenLine” system. Since Wednesday, this “100% free” system allows all passengers – departing from Terminal 1 – to reserve a slot in advance to go through security checks without waiting. According to the company, Lyon is the “first airport in France to benefit from such a system”.
How does it work?
To avoid waiting during security checks, you must reserve a slot online, seven days before the flight (and up to 24 hours before departure), on the Lyon Aéroport website or application.
On the day of the flight, simply go to security checks in the “ZenLine” line at the reserved time and “simply scan the boarding pass”. And there you have it! “No waiting and no stress,” summarizes the organization. The reservation window is fifteen minutes. Outside of this time slot, “ZenLine” access will be refused and you will have to take the “classic” passage.

The airport also specifies that if the passenger has the “skip the line” service, it is not necessary to use the “ZenLine” device, given that a line is dedicated to security checks, with priority passage .
