No more vehicles refueling over the limit

GIACARTA, KOMPAS.com – PT Pertamine conduct trials to limit the purchase of 120 liters of pertalite fuel oil (BBM) per day.

PT Pertamina Company Secretary Patra Niaga Irto Ginting assured that there would be no more purchases of Pertalite over the limit after the restriction test.

He said the average daily consumption was not done for the tests carried out for these four-wheelers. The reason for this is that vehicles generally do not carry out ordinary recharging every day.

“What is clear is that there are no more vehicles filling up with fuel over the limit,” Irto said happy, Sunday (18/9/2022).

Irto pointed out that the volume used as the maximum limit is only a temporary number. If the revised Presidency Regulation 191/2014 has been published, the maximum limit number can be adjusted according to the provisions in force.

Earlier, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Arifin Tasrif revealed that restrictions have indeed been introduced for the types of four-wheeled commercial vehicles.

Not just for Pertalite, Arifin has assessed that subsidized fuel spillage is quite high for diesel as well. For this reason, he assured that the restriction rules should be implemented shortly.

“Yes, immediately, it must exist,” Arifin said while meeting at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources on Friday (9/16/2022).

Meanwhile, so far, applicants for Pertamina’s targeted grants program have reached 2.5 million four-wheelers and more. (Philemon the Great)
