Gigabyte found a wayhow to keep your computer ‘s glass side neatly tidy. At Computex, he introduced Project Stealth, a new line of components that, at first glance, use no cables. But they are actually there, Gigabyte just moved them back.

The Stealth series currently includes the Aorus Elite Z690 motherboard for Intel Alder Lake, the GeForce RTX 3070 Gaming OC 8G graphics and the Aorus C300 Glass case. The board is largely covered, so users won’t see printed circuit boards, only the processor socket, memory bank, and graphics slot. The company moved the power and data connectors or headers for fans and buttons to the back of the board.

Of course, this is taken into account by the cabinet, which makes all the exits nicely accessible there and at the same time has enough space behind the other side for the actual cabling. The modified graphics card then also contains power connectors on the back, ie next to the PCIe. Only the processor heat sink will always protrude somehow, because it will lead the cable or tube of the waterman.

Stealth design will help not only aesthetics but also cooling, because the air flow will not be disturbed by any unnecessary elements. It is a great pity that Stealth is a matter of Gigabytes alone, and the manufacturers have long since agreed on a similar universal solution for all.

Of course, “wireless” computers are nothing new. Apple also always tried to plug everything into the board with Macs Pro so that no wires would stick. The same is used by some corporate PCs from Dell, HP, etc., but in these cases, proprietary components that are not usable elsewhere are typically used. This limits any upgrade or use of these components on other computers.
