Parasols sold on European soil are almost all made in China. However, Camif’s product managers have managed to find a small Portuguese manufacturer, Ezpelata, which offers them at competitive prices. On the online sales site, the origin of the parasol is mentioned, as with all products. A European flag signs the provenance, a small tree leaf indicates that the product is sustainable, since it is made from recycled materials.

Loss of 5% of turnover
Since this summer, Camif no longer offers any product manufactured outside of Europe. Even if it means depriving yourself of certain household appliances, such as microwaves or air conditioners, electronic products, garden furniture or entry-level bed linen. Today, 78% of the references are made in France, the others in another country of the European Union.
