The British low-cost airline has, however, specified that on flights to or from countries where the mask requirements remain in force, it remains mandatory to wear it on board.

So, for example, since both England and Iceland have abandoned most, if not all of the travel restrictions adopted for the pandemic. (here you find the new rules for traveling to the United Kingdom), protective equipment would not be required on flights from London to Reykjavik. The same would apply to flights from England to Denmark, Gibraltar, Norway and Hungary, but not between any of these destinations and Scotlandwhere instead the rules of face coverage remain in force (for now), as in Italy.

To do so travelers can leave with clear ideas about restrictions, and with the obligation or not to wear a mask, the low cost airline said it was ready to provide detailed information to passengers, even during the flight. In this regard, easyJet stated: “We urge European governments to have a coordinated approach on removing the obligation, where possible, to make it easy and clear for customers.”

Meanwhile, in recent weeks, too British Airways, Jet2.com e Tui Airways have relaxed the rules for using the mask on board their flights. On flights Ryanairinstead, the obligation remains. In particular, passengers traveling to or from Italy, Austria or Germany must wear the Ffp2. Chief Executive Michael O’Leary, however, stressed that he expects this requirement to be lifted from the end of April or the end of May.
