No More Horror at Amex Stadium!

Liverpool

Liverpool performed poorly and was slaughtered on his last visit to Brighton & Hove Albion. The Reds are reluctant to fall twice.

Liverpool will meet Brighton at the Amex Stadium, Sunday (29/1/2023) evening WIB in the FA Cup Fourth Round continuation.

This is the second time Liverpool have met Brighton this month after the first on 14 January. At home to Brighton, Liverpool had a nightmare.

Appearing badly from the early minutes, Liverpool were unable to reduce the host’s pressure and had to give up with a score of 0-3! That match was called one of Liverpool’s worst performances under Juergen Klopp.

Just two weeks have passed, Liverpool must face their nightmare again. Brighton are certainly favored to qualify due to their recent form with Roberto De Zerbi.

Meanwhile, Liverpool actually struggled to look okay after the World Cup break. This weekend’s match seems to bring up again trauma for Liverpool.

Therefore, Juergen Klopp warned that his players could perform at their best and avenge the defeat, while maintaining the chances of winning a trophy in this tournament.

Liverpool should also be wary of their poor record, namely being eliminated four times in the last six appearances in the FA Cup Fourth Round.

“Of course we had intense discussions after the match against Brighton. We had to make changes as soon as possible and we succeeded. A few days later we met Wolves and we looked different,” Klopp said as quoted by France24.

‘But I don’t just want a meeting just to show a video of our poor performance against Brighton at the meeting, like a horror movie, and we saw that. We watched the video of the game afterwards.”

“We made big changes and improved a few things. We could have lost and we did. If you don’t learn, it’s just defeat.”

“It’s also important that you learn from it and we want to do just that.”
