No more free parking on the Gedempte Zuiderdokken in Antwerp

The new red parking zone in the city of Antwerp includes all streets between the Scheldt quays, the axis Scheldestraat-Kronenburgstraat-Kasteelpleinstraat, the Leien and Nieuw Zuid. Nothing will change in the car park on the Scheldt quays.

Free parking on the Gedempte Zuiderdokken, which was very popular in the South, is therefore no longer possible. It now costs 2 euros for the first hour, 3 euros for the second hour and 5 euros for the third hour of parking. Parking in the street for longer than 3 hours is no longer allowed. The Gedempte Zuiderdokken will also be transformed into a park.
