While the Isadora dance school could no longer accommodate its students, the teachers took advantage of the mild weather to give face-to-face lessons on the forecourt of the MuPop, in Montluçon (Allier).
Four carpets with a total value of 600 euros
Unfortunately, the four carpets on which the students moved and which were stored between classes under the porch of MuPop were stolen on Friday March 5, at the beginning of the afternoon.
These are large rugs of 10 by 2 meters that are rolled out to prevent children from hurting themselves when they dance on hard floors. They had been loaned by the association Les Arts en cœur. The overall value of the four rugs is 600 euros

More than distance learning for students
Beyond the significant cost that this represents in a difficult period for the school and the association, Alexandra Martin-Volcovici regrets that the students are the collateral victims of this theft. As the lessons can no longer take place outdoors, they will only take place at a distance.
“I refused to allow parents to collect to buy more rugs. It is not for them to pay. I lodged a complaint on Friday at the police station, but if the carpets are returned to us, the thief or thieves can put them back where they took them, I would withdraw my complaint ”, underlines the director.
