No More Ben & Jerry’s in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Israeli Prime Minister: “Complete Mistake”

As a large international company, Ben & Jerry’s makes a striking statement against the Israeli occupation policy. Israel has been building houses for decades in Palestinian territories that it conquered in the 1967 war.

Under international law, those settlements are illegal and the area belongs to the Palestinians, but that does not include Israel. The West Bank, including East Jerusalem, is already home to more than 600,000 Israeli settlers, along with about 3 million Palestinians. The Golan Heights and Gaza are also occupied Palestinian territories, according to the United Nations.
