This Sunday evening, the most intriguing and exceptionally secret show, Kaukės, was full of surprises. First of all, the participants of the show were joined by a new mask Egg.
To everyone’s surprise, the host of the show Giedrius Savickas decided not to wait for anything and reveal this mask immediately after the show. Beneath it hid the ballet’s primary Nerijus Juška, who had the honor of joining the commission, according to a press release.
But the culmination of the show became the revelation of the second mask. The commission decided to remove the Frog Mask in front of the whole of Lithuania. For the first time, all members of the commission could not reach a unanimous opinion and speculated relying on their intuition.
Unfortunately, none of their guesses came true. The frog pulled everyone behind the ropes for a long time, but eventually took off the mask. Beneath it was a well-known dancer, choreographer and founder of the dance studio Deividas Meškauskas.
“You’re kidding!” – seeing what was hiding under this mask, the Lavrinovich brothers could not control their emotions.
“Go for yourself!” – the performer Vaidotas Valiukevičius even leaned back in his chair.
“Okay, well here it was good! I could never think! ”- Giedrius, the host of the show, did not hide his surprises.
“They really were left speechless and really got up because no one knew what was hiding under the mask. He couldn’t even think that I was there! ”David was happy as he stepped off the stage.

“Where you need to sing, you will never see me. I don’t know why, but when I was offered to participate in this project, flair said I needed to try and overcome my fears. And now I am very happy about that. Of course, I’m not a singer and I can’t boast great vocal skills. I am grateful to the show’s music producer Deivydas Zvonkas.
He helped me choose songs that fit the timbre of my voice and worked patiently with me. And succeeded! I was preparing at home every time what I would do on stage and how I would fulfill my show. But I did it without a mask.
The funniest thing is that when I got on stage, I always forgot everything and behaved the way my heart feels at that moment. You know, even if I asked somewhere and passed by, what’s the difference? After all, it is not me but the Frog that sings! ”Said the famous dancer.
While we are accustomed to many participants receiving a bunch of messages and calls with speculation from close friends or family members and attempts to pick out the truth, David is glad he didn’t have to lie to anyone or turn a tail.
“I haven’t received a single question – aren’t you just hiding under the Frog’s mask? So, it was very easy for me. No one even considered the option of me participating in such a project. Everyone close knows that they will never see me singing. Therefore, not only for the commission, but also for my relatives, it was a great surprise when I took off my mask, ”David rejoiced.
Not only that, even David’s beloved actress Ineta Stasiulytė had never thought for a second that her daughter’s father could hide under a mask. However, he was very happy to receive this message: “Ineta greeted me and was very happy that I was determined to try something new. I believe that more than once I will turn off the whole show and analyze each show in search of details that remind me of me, ”smiles the famous man.
David makes no secret of the fact that this experience is invaluable to him. Therefore, it does not hide that it will not really “break” and sing one of the performed songs at the request of friends.
