Spotify yesterday unveiled a new version of its application for Mac / PC and Linux, thus affirming its intention not to sacrifice this one for the web version. But nothing about an adaptation to M1 processors, it would have been an opportunity to touch even a word. Spotify’s Mac app works with Rosetta 2, however it can be slow and power hungry. As the migration to adapted Apple Silicon apps progresses rapidly among publishers of all sizes, it is dead calm in Sweden.
