Issa Remmo was registered in the municipality of Grabowhöfe for almost two years. The head of the notorious Remmo clan from Berlin seems to have turned his back on the lake district.

Clan leader Issa Remmo no longer lives in the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district. This was revealed by a joint investigation by the internet portal “Wir sind Müritzer” and the NDR. Accordingly, the district no longer has to deal with his naturalization process.

Citizenship applied for

About two years ago, Issa Remmo registered his residence in the municipality of Grabowhöfe. This was revoked because the house he was renting had neither electricity nor water – conditions that made living there impossible. Remmo successfully registered again. He then applied for German citizenship in the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district. In the summer, his landlord gave him notice, but it is not known why. He could not prove that he had a new place of residence and therefore no longer had a registered address. He is now back in Berlin and will have to submit a new application for naturalization there.

Big announcement: Ferris wheel based on London model

In an interview, Remmo stated that he had found the center of his life in Grabowhöfe: he liked the rural idyll, he wanted to find peace and quiet and also get involved and invest in the community, Remmo said at the time. He knew a lot of people with money and could imagine setting up a Ferris wheel in Waren. And one of the dimensions that the whole world knows from London. That, in turn, did not fit at all with the application for personal insolvency that he had submitted to the Neubrandenburg District Court: 125,000 euros is the total debt in the ongoing proceedings.

Family belongs to criminal clans in Germany

The Remmo family is one of the criminal clans in Germany. Around 500 people are said to belong to it. Issa Remmo has already been brought to court, but he has never been convicted. However, some of his twelve children have relevant criminal records. Some were involved in the break-in at the Green Vault in Dresden or in the theft of the gold coin from the Bode Museum.
