SVT has gained access to documents showing that the small DHC-2 Turbo Beaver aircraft was last inspected in Denmark at the end of March and was then approved for use for one year.
Aeronautical inspector Jerry Köhlström at the Swedish Transport Agency has reviewed all information that the Swedish authorities have about the aircraft.
– We have not found anything strange. If there had been problems that could in any way affect flight safety, it would not have been approved, he says.
According to Flightradar24, the accident plane, which was 55 years old, crashed just 13 seconds after takeoff. It was owned by a company in Skåne, which earlier this week rented it out to the parachute club in Örebro.
According to the specifications, the single-engine aircraft has a capacity of six passengers in addition to the pilot, or it can have a total payload of up to 953 kilos.
