Recently, Rian Mahendra made a shocking statement on his official social media accounts. Rian admitted he didn’t receive a dime in severance pay after being fired PO Haryanto since July 2022. In fact, he has been working in the family business for 19 years.
Not only that, Rian Mahendra felt sad and disappointed that he didn’t get severance pay from PO Haryanto, especially now that he is unemployed. However, after a long time he was able to accept it.
“I didn’t get the settlement. If I tell you, it’s sad. It doesn’t matter, don’t talk about money, okay?” said Rian whose Instagram live stream was re-shared on EDU Bus Akap’s Youtube channel, quoted detikOto, on Wednesday (4/2/2022).

In addition to not receiving severance pay, Rian also had to return the items PO Haryanto lent him, including the car. According to him, these items are just inventory. So when he’s no longer an employee, he has to send everything back.
“Do you think Rian Mahendra has it all? Nope! I’ve always said that I work for my employees. My first mission is to move the company forward and it’s doing well, then secondly to improve employee well-being,” he said.
Rian Mahendra claims he has no assets
In the new video uploaded to his official YouTube channel, Rian Mahendra tries to straighten the public’s suspicions that he thinks he’s rich. Rian admitted that he is only an employee at PO Haryanto. So, the money he has is not as much as others think.
Never mind the “treasure heap”, he doesn’t even have a house and land. Not only that, he admitted, the only vehicle purchased in his name was the Yamaha NMax. That too was bought on credit.
“I don’t even have a land certificate. BPKB is just NMax, this is also my credit. I have nothing (assets), I have nothing. I don’t even have a house, there are no there are no family assets that are in my name, nothing,” Rian said across the channel Youtube Rian Mahendra.

According to Rian, when he was still serving as operations director of PO Haryanto, he was too busy promoting employees and improving employee welfare. Therefore, he did not have time to get rich.
“You know, I’ve been working for 19 years looking for money. I can save money, so if so I can buy a bus. I’m too busy making people thrive, employees and companies grow, so I don’t think about myself” Rian said.
