There will be no Happy New Year Tournament in Chartres at the end of the year 2021. As in 2020, the most important tennis event in Eure-et-Loir, registered on the CNGT calendar (national circuit of major tournaments), is canceled.
The Eure-et-Loir tennis committee, the organizer, made the decision in the face of the constraints generated by the health situation and the uncertainties to complete its budget, around € 30,000.
It will be necessary to wait until 2022 to attend the 30th edition of the event, whose finals are traditionally held on December 30.
