Like last summer, AS Nancy Lorraine will not be able to recruit players for the winter transfer window for a fee. The DNCG (National Management Control Directorate) issued its decision after evaluating the financial situation of the club with thistle, the red lantern of Ligue 2.
Loan or free players
If a new recruit arrives in January, it will be either on loan or a player free from any contract. Furthermore, the payroll of the thistle club remains regulated, as was already the case during the previous transfer window. The winter transfer window opens on January 1 and ends on January 31.
Last summer, AS Nancy Lorraine was still able to enroll players on loan from the club in the same group, Ostend. A practice that had earned him many criticisms from other Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 clubs.
