– No execution. Vengeance

There is an uprising after one of Iran’s most prominent wrestlers, Navid Afkari, was sentenced to death for murder.

Afkari was going according to plan executed on Wednesday. No information has emerged as to whether this has been implemented or not.

Several Iranian organizations, as well as organizations such as the IOC and US President Donald Trump, have put pressure on Iran to pardon Afkari.

Now they get answers from a spokesperson in the Iranian judiciary, writes the news agency YJC.

– Afkari’s punishment is no execution. It’s revenge. The essence is the same, but there are two different things legally since he killed a person, says the spokesman for YJC.
