“But the 165,000 Belgians who live in a residential care center or service flat are left out in the cold,” warns Johan Staes, managing director of VLOZO. “The residents of residential care centers are not entitled to the energy check of 100 euros, because there is only one electricity connection for the entire residential care center, while many different people live there.”
