The first case of fluron in a patient infected with both COVID-19 and influenza was confirmed in Croatia yesterday, according to Jasmina Vranes, head of the Clinical Microbiology Service. And today, similar information came from the Bosnian Republika Srpska. The patient was born in 2000, he is from Banja Luka, his condition is currently stable.
According to the Institute of Public Health in Zagreb, it is a combination of coronavirus and influenza A virus, swine flu X3H2. Israel announced that it was ill with the current version last week, and this officially became the first officially known case in the world. The strain was called flurona – a combination formed by the English words flu (flu) and coronavirus (coronavirus), notes TASS.
Flurone was found in a 31-year-old pregnant Israeli woman who became infected with both the coronavirus and the flu.
At present, fluorine is still a poorly studied strain. COVID-19 and the flu themselves can be deadly. Therefore, the fluron strain must be studied very seriously and effective measures must be taken against its spread.
According to medics, fluron can be treated at home if the symptoms are mild. However, more severe forms can occur, including bronchopneumonia, myocarditis and inflammation of the heart muscle.
