No concerts because of Corona? Are you kidding me? Are you serious when you say that! These Dresdeners bring bands to Saxony

Concerts are held in Dresden and Leipzig that can be watched from the picnic blanket. LEA, Faber, the Giant Rooks and Thees Uhlmann are coming.

Dresden – A summer without it Pop-Festivals, it looked like that for a long time. But it won’t be that bad.

If many registered major events are canceled, others will take place, including some that have been specially designed for the difficult conditions.

These include, for example, the picnic concerts that the organizer of the tramp concerts will be holding at the same time in Dresden and Leipzig at the end of July / beginning of August.

The venues are the channel in the Ostragehege in Dresden and the Agra exhibition park in Leipzig. Places where the need of the Corona restrictions can be made a virtue, so to speak.

If, for example, the film nights on the banks of the Elbe were forced to cancel their concert plans due to the tight seating in the auditorium, there is enough space in the gutter and in the exhibition grounds to keep distance regulations.

The festival takes place from July 30th to August 2nd. Both here and there, four concerts will be played, including Faber (July 30th in Dresden; July 31st in Leipzig), Giant Rooks (July 31st in Dresden; August 1st in Leipzig), LEA (August 1st in Dresden; August 2nd in Leipzig) August in Leipzig) and Thees Uhlmann (August 2 in Dresden; July 30 in Leipzig).

The audience should experience the shows “from picnic blankets in a summery atmosphere,” they say.

The ceilings would only be laid out in marked areas, thus ensuring compliance with the spacing rules. Drinks and food are to be brought by the audience.

The safety precautions are adapted to the usual regulations.

The size of the blankets, which can be brought along or purchased on site, is precisely regulated, and nothing works without mouth and nose protection.

Advance sales start on July 1st, 10 a.m., exclusively at www.picknick-konzerte.de.

The security details are also communicated on the website.
