Laurent and Jazz also denied the existence of a family dispute that occurred before the death. “Dear all, As you may have learned, unfortunately through the press, a terrible personal tragedy happened to me. This Sunday, August 4, 2024, Carlos Fernandes Correia, my father, passed away. This tragedy is part of my private life and I would like his memory and dignity to be respected. I do not have the words to thank those who are kind enough to offer me their condolences.”Laurent Correia declared at the beginning of August.
“I do not yet have the strength to react to those who, at such a moment, still seek to reach me by spreading lies such as a family dispute.”he had also indicated. For her part, Jazz Correia had also spoken on the subject a week later the suicide of Carlos Fernandes Correia. “My whole family is in shock. My father-in-law was left hanging in front of us for almost 4 hours, the time it took for the police, doctors and funeral directors to do their job.”she remembered.
