Barcelona, ​​Jan 6 (EFE) .- The 54th edition of the “Cap nen sense joguina (No child without a Toy)” campaign, organized by Ser-Catalunya on Twelfth Night, has raised 52,570 euros in its solidarity auction, its historical record , in which the maximum bid, of 4,550 euros, has fallen on a guitar of the singer Alfred García.

As detailed by the organizers of this traditional solidarity initiative, which raises money so that the Three Kings can bring gifts to the boys and girls of the most disadvantaged families, the second object donated by celebrities for the auction for which listeners have paid a The largest sum has been a guitar by singer-songwriter Joan Manuel Serrat, for which 3,600 euros have been paid.

Other of the most coveted pieces in this solidarity initiative of Ser-Catalonia have been a bicycle by the writer and trader Josep Ajram (2,600 euros), a T-shirt by RCD Espanyol striker Raúl de Tomás (2,000 euros), the work “La Trobada” , by Guim Tió (1,400 euros), a shirt and postcards of the Swiss tennis player Roger Federer (1,200 euros) and a painting of the singer Manolo García (1,100 euros).

The 1-O urn given by the Minister of the Presidency and spokesperson for the Government, Meritxell Budó, has finally been acquired for 250 euros, while a listener has paid 930 euros for the cap of the oldest of the Mossos d’Esquadra Josep Lluis Trapero .

Budó had explained that he had wanted to give the 1-O urn for the solidarity auction, with the collection of which toys are purchased to give to children from disadvantaged families, because, he has said: “if we want a better future we need to be able to freely decide again what should be the future of our country “.
