No BVB transfer! A bomb is brewing around HIM

At the European Championships, several players caused a sensation and were able to prove their skills at top clubs. Borussia Dortmund also had a rising star in its sights. Head coach Nuri Sahin was keen to have him in his team.

The problem was that the player was becoming more and more sought after and many other clubs wanted him too. Borussia Dortmund therefore decided against a transfer. Now a bombshell is brewing around him.

Borussia Dortmund didn’t want him anymore

Many Borussia Dortmund fans will probably know him immediately: Ferdi Kadioglu. The Turkish international shone at the European Championships and played a major role in the team reaching the quarter-finals. There they lost to the Netherlands (1:2).

Kadioglu played a strong tournament. Even before the start, it was known that Dortmund was very interested in him. He was actually supposed to play on the left wing, where Ian Maatsen caused a sensation in the second half of the season, but had to leave the club.

However, Kadioglu came to the fore so much that more and more clubs wanted to sign him. This automatically increased the transfer fee for the defender from Fenerbahce Istanbul, which is why BVB withdrew from the poker game.

Kadioglu in die Premier League?

While Borussia Dortmund will no longer sign him, there is now a club that has apparently already made a first offer. Brighton & Hove Albion from the Premier League want to buy Kadioglu for 35 million euros. A sum that BVB would probably never have paid for him. Kadioglu would therefore be the most expensive SüperLig departure in history.

But the Black and Yellows will not mourn his departure, even though BVB coach Nuri Sahin would have liked to sign him. Ultimately, the club signed Yan Couto, who is planned to play on the right wing.
