No bonfires in The Hague and Scheveningen during New Year’s Eve | Inland

The builders of the bonfires were personally informed by Van Zanen on Tuesday. Carbide shooting is also prohibited during the New Year in The Hague. “As already established by the Dutch Safety Board in the report on the safety risks of the turn of the year, this is an activity in which physical danger and nuisance can occur for bystanders and the environment,” says Van Zanen.

“The stakes for next year will remain unchanged: during the turn of the year from 2021 to 2022, all parties intend to have a bonfire. Good steps have been taken by all concerned that can be used in the preparation of future bonfires.
