The actor’s shared words about how he quit smoking and drinking after that movie are attracting attention again on social media.

In the words of the star,
‘To tell you the truth, Ananthabhadram is a film that I made with a lot of fear even though I didn’t show it outdoors. After each shot, Santhosh Sivan would tell him to relax and let him do the lighting. When he was about to sit in the chair upon hearing that, he would call and say the shot was ready. It’s so fast.
He is a very talented man. Santhoshettan took the film without even agreeing to sit down. Impossible is the artist. I used to play a very serious character but when I have a short break I go to joke and relax. On the other hand, other actors would have read all the books without leaving the character and become serious somewhere.’
I used to drink alcohol. Ananthabhadra and Rajamanikya were the last films to break with minor success. She had a couple of pegs. I haven’t been to any cafe in Kerala. It was a sit-down event.
