A group of Canadian tourists has broken so many corona rules on a flight to Mexico that no airline company wants to transport the group home. The travelers are stranded in the vicinity of the resort town of Cancun. Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau has labeled them “barbarians” and “idiots”.
The mostly young travelers were on board a charter flight of Sunwing Airlines on December 30. Footage has circulated on social media showing the rowdy group dancing, drinking vodka and smoking electronic cigarettes – all without a mask. Due to the misconduct, the airline canceled the return flight on January 5.
