Sunny weather is forecast over the weekend. The NMBS is preparing for extra travelers to destinations on the coast. There will be extra trains to Ostend and Blankenberge. The coastal mayors do not expect a surprise.

In the weekend of 5 and 6 June, the NMBS is experimenting with reservations for direct trains from Ghent, Liège, Brussels and Antwerp to coastal destinations. Travelers can then secure a seat by reserving in advance and paying 1 euro extra.
